Privacy Policy

How It All Runs ("the App") is a personal content-publishing tool used solely by its owner to create and publish original educational explainer videos to the owner's own social media accounts (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), and to manage those accounts.

What data the App accesses

The App connects only to the owner's own social media accounts through each platform's official API (Meta Graph API, YouTube Data API, TikTok Content Posting API). It accesses:

  • Basic profile / page information of the owner's own accounts (name, page ID)
  • Permissions required to upload and publish videos to those accounts
  • Engagement data on the owner's own posts — comments, likes and view/reach statistics — so the owner can read and manage responses to their own content from one place

What data the App does NOT do

  • It does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data of third parties beyond what each platform already attaches to a public comment on the owner's own posts (e.g. the commenter's public username), which is used only to display and reply to that comment.
  • It has no users other than its owner; no visitor accounts, no tracking, no analytics of website visitors, no advertising.
  • It does not build profiles of, contact, or message any audience member.
  • Access tokens and any cached data are stored locally on the owner's own computer and are never transmitted anywhere except to the respective platform's official API.

Data deletion

No third-party data is collected for storage beyond the transient cache described above, which lives only on the owner's own machine and can be cleared at any time. The owner can revoke the App's access at any time from the security settings of the connected platforms (e.g. Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations; Google Account → Security → Third-party access; TikTok → Security → Manage apps).
